Starbucks

The worst Starbucks I have ever visited. The first time here for breakfast and truly disappointed. The staff (Val and Sarah) were very rude, poor customer service and low quality of beverage served. I am wondering if Starbucks standard of hot beverage is to be served with bubbles. They don't deserve to be called a barista if they don’t even know how to steam milk properly. The savoury breakfast set doesn't even have any chilli sauce, tobasco or hot sauce?! Even Mcdonalds, Coffee Bean and Kopitiam has it! Not worth coming here unless you want to waste your morning with poor service and low quality drinks.

Located in level 1 of Bishan CC. Quite crowded, a lot of customers were just chilling out. Surprising, it wasn’t noisy. Nice subtle background music. I could doze off easily. Standard friendly service, I could conclude the training for all Starbucks employees were quite up to the mark. The lady staff was polite and patient when taking my order. Hassle free experience.

DRINKS 🧊Vanilla frap: Very fragrant vanilla flavour. Would recommend. sweetness 7/10 🧊Caramel macchiato frap: Cult favourite, and for good reasons why. not too sweet with mild coffee. this tastes better than the caramel frap imo, as the caramel macc has stronger coffee taste. mix for a sweeter taste. the first few sips are the most bitter. sweetness 6/10 🧊White Choc mocha frap: one of my favourites. roast coffee with white Choc sauce. not too sweet. sweetness 5.5/10 🧊Choc chip frap: Best for kids! The caffeine version is the Java Chip frap. I love the subtle crunch and chocolatey taste! sweetness 8/10 🧊Mango on the beach: I like how they use real mango here! the reusable straw that comes with it is so pretty, but I think it cant fit Starbucks tumblrs :( it is pretty sweet but not overly sweet sweetness 7/10 🧊strawberry dream creme: a cute and pretty dreamy drink. taste wise good too. sweetness 8.5/10 🧊strawberry mango jelly m:lk cream tea: they use real mango here, and strawberry jam - hence the sweetness. I like this one, but recommend you to realllllly thoroughly mix it well!!! sweetness 8/10 starbucks refreshers: (comes with limited edition tumblr) 🧊1. pink drink with strawberry açai they used coconut milk and i think that was just lovely. the fragrance of the coconut mixed well with the strawberry. Not too sweet. Sweetness level: 7/10 🧊2. strawberry açai with lemonade this is better for hot tropical days, perfect to quench your thirst. the lemonade isnt too strong and i love the strawb bits. Sweetness level: 6/10 CHRISTMAS DRINKS 🧊toffee nut frap my ULTIMATE favourite ❤️ the crunch is sooooo delicious. if you’ve never tried you have to!!!! 🧊peppermint mocha frap this is pretty good, and minty. Not as delicious as the toffee nut frap in my opinion.. FOOD 🧊sriracha pita i love the sweet red fruit/veg that mixes so well with the chicken. this was so delicious! it wasn't spicy, but it had a little bit of hot aftertaste. mostly from the herbs. simple but delightful. OVERALL Great relaxing place for drinks. Staff are friendly and patient, service is great! Place is often crowded but surprisingly quiet and tranquil. Tip: Order thru their app to skip the queue! this is super convenient. Also, if you often buy drinks from starbucks, become a member! so many perks and vouchers :) Drinks taste great too! Would recommend. ❤️

I'm writing this here cos this not the 1st time. I ordered my frappe with extra whipped cream and this is what I got (refer to picture). I realized that this always happens when I buy the drink via the app and not there physically. Even when I tried to ask abt it, ALL of them seem so busy. I mean...it's clearly written on the cup itself that it's "×WC". Maybe this outlet should start hiring staff who can have the ability to read. Jeez. Such a turnoff this outlet.
